In the 6th match minute, Cupia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Luís Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Luís Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Shu Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cupia getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nilson Bertassi hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Xie Shu Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pecém's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xie Shu Tian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 24th minute of play forced Cupia's goalkeeper Luís Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ibon Obeso scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xie Shu Tian scored 0-6 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Xie Shu Tian sped through Cupia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Prata. Luís Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pecém. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 71st minute of play forced Cupia's goalkeeper Luís Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian in the 77th minute of play. Pecém's Ibon Obeso got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Xie Shu Tian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cupia's Luís Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Xie Shu Tian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Prata. Cupia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xie Shu Tian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Xie Shu Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian in the 94th minute of play. Pecém's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
