The crowd rose to their feet as 陆光卫 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Prata. That made the score 4-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Roberto Tinoco fired a really elegant long shot, but Luís Prata threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Cupia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Leandro Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Luís Prata, making the score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Cunha in the 28th minute of play forced Cupia's goalkeeper Luís Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cupia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Abel Linares scored to the left of an out of position Luís Prata, making the score, 7-0. In the 32nd minute 陆光卫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richie Scholey might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Prata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richie Scholey ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Cupia defense, Richie Scholey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Prata. The Cupia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Prata should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Verdão da Mantiqueira's 陆光卫 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Prata. That made the score 10-0 after 40 minutes of play. Luís Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Linares in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Cupia's Ademir Bezerra got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Cupia's goalkeeper Luís Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Linares. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陆光卫 in the 48th minute of play forced Cupia's goalkeeper Luís Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, 陆光卫 notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Cupia's Luís Prata. Luís Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Prata came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdão da Mantiqueira's Leandro Cunha. But to his dismay, Leandro Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. When Leandro Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Verdão da Mantiqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Cunha couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Abel Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Cupia's Luís Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Cunha in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Leandro Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Luís Prata. Cupia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. 73 minutes into the match, Cupia's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cunha came free, but Luís Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cupia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lúcio Fantini hit a great ball. Cupia's Luís Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Cunha in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, 陆光卫 made a precise shot to the right of Luís Prata. Cupia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. Leandro Cunha took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Prata. Luís Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. Leandro Cunha took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Prata. Luís Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 19-0. Luís Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陆光卫 in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Abel Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Prata. Cupia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 20-0. Luís Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆光卫, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Luís Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Scholey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verdão da Mantiqueira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
