Luiz Fábio Custódio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Yang Ke Xun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dráuzio Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético-PR's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hong Jian Fan in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dráuzio Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luiz Fábio Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hong Jian Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rubinho Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AE esporte clube's protests and gave Rubinho Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Rubinho Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
