In the 7th minute Egídio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Marques got free with Arí Lopes in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Edvaldo Bastos could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Arí Lopes however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Egídio Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arí Lopes to make any attempt to save it. Arí Lopes was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Edvaldo Bastos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edvaldo Bastos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 36th minute, Edvaldo Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arí Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Ortiz in the 39th minute of the match. Elano Duarte hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Bastos in the 50th minute of play forced MARIMBONDO F.C's goalkeeper Arí Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st match minute, Sangue nos Zóio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Egídio Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Bastos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of MARIMBONDO F.C's Arí Lopes. Arí Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Váldson Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Lopes having to interfere. Arí Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Ortiz in the 60th minute of play. After 63 played minutes MARIMBONDO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elano Duarte. Sangue nos Zóio's Clemente Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Brasil in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Egídio Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arí Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alfredo de Brito hit a great ball. Cristian Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Clemente Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Bastos in the 77th minute of the match. Edvaldo Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Bastos notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of MARIMBONDO F.C's Arí Lopes. Arí Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arí Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alfredo de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Lopes having to interfere. Arí Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Bastos in the 95th minute of play. Sangue nos Zóio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
