Luís Gustavo Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Válter Peixoto made a huge save. After 20 played minutes Sport Guild Atlantis got a freekick which was hit by Mats Byström. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Gustavo Ferreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Válter Peixoto however easily saved by the left post. Savas Zavadskiy hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sport Guild Atlantis's Válter Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Abreu in the 37th minute of play. André Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Messias hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Sport Guild Atlantis's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Abreu came free, but Válter Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Leme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Vágner Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Santista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Guild Atlantis the free kick. Vito Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sport Guild Atlantis booed when Real Santista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Dinei Chaves from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Magno Leme's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Kurt Hamrin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Real Santista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Hamrin couldn't finish the play. Although Real Santista FC had been in control for most of the match, Sport Guild Atlantis still came away with the win.
