After a rather tough play, Sport Guild Atlantis's André Messias got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Trancoso in the 14th minute of play forced Sport Guild Atlantis's goalkeeper Válter Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Wambasther Navas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Mourad Amirouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Messias made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Célio Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, André Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Válter Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Lemiesz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válter Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 69th minute of the match.
