In the 45thth minute of the game Elivélton Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Itu's Oséas Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Cunha made a kick off. Raúl Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Corrêa having to interfere. Elivélton Cunhas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Oséas Corrêa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Vinhas in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Massa saved Quiroga F.C. from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Augusto Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Quiroga F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético de Itu throughout the match.
