The YESHUA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when YESHUA F.C's David Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Wambasther Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Coracera, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, John Coracera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wambasther Navas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Torres hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Minilo to maneuver through the defense. Wambasther Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Coracera in the 33rd minute of play. The YESHUA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when YESHUA F.C's David Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute, Rogério Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see YESHUA F.C's John Coracera in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 44 minutes, David Torres made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Olimpia's Wambasther Navas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wasyl Lemiesz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vasily Mahnach notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Olimpia's Wambasther Navas. Wambasther Navas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Romero to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Olimpia's Wambasther Navas got control of the ball when Vasily Mahnach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pelé came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wambasther Navas could save by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Olimpia's goalkeeper Wambasther Navas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasily Mahnach. Serafino Jurdan came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia's Wasyl Lemiesz. But to his dismay, Wasyl Lemiesz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Serafino Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Cristos Contreras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Wambasther Navas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wambasther Navas was a little too slow when Vasily Mahnach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Torres in the 85th minute of play forced Olimpia's goalkeeper Wambasther Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Romero. 87 minutes into the match, John Coracera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wambasther Navas. Olimpia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Coracera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Wambasther Navas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over YESHUA F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olimpia throughout the match.
