The Trahira FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Trahira FC's Delbert Grady looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Delbert Grady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, César Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Romário de Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oséas Corrêa, 2-0. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oséas Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Delbert Grady had several of the Atlético de Itu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Oséas Corrêa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Trahira FC's Tiberiu Paulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Adilson Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes in the game, Romário de Souza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oséas Corrêa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Delbert Grady could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Oséas Corrêa however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Jonas Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Orlando Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Romário de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delbert Grady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Corrêa having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Trahira FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Toledo. If Romário de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Oséas Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Britto during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raphael Britto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Delbert Grady cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Oséas Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trahira FC's goalkeeper Xavier Verhaeghen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Delbert Grady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caetano de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Oséas Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Romário de Souza notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Atlético de Itu's Oséas Corrêa. Oséas Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Trahira FC's Ronaldinho Toledo got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Vânderson Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trahira FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
