Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardinho Cardoso got the match started through his kick off. Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Rezende FC from getting a goal against them. Geovânio Rosado came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rezende FC's Bernardinho Cardoso. But to his dismay, Bernardinho Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Geovânio Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardinho Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Lauro Vander fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rezende FC's protests and gave Lauro Vander a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Afonso Terra in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reynaldo das Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ediberto Linares struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Geovânio Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezende FC. Víktor Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A hard shot 26 in the game by Víktor Ferreira from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo das Neves managed to make a qualified save. Rezende FC's players were relieved. Reynaldo das Neves was a little too slow when Cléberson Faria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-1. 34 minutes into the game, Rezende FC's Ediberto Linares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 39th minute, Ediberto Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Rezende FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Terra. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rezende FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramón de Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Manteninha's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ramón de Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reynaldo das Neves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bernardinho Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Manteninha booed when Rezende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Ramón de Toledo in the 48th minute really tested Reynaldo das Neves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Víktor Ferreira to make the kick off. Reynaldo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Terra in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Manteninha's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Cardoso came free, but Geovânio Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Cardoso in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Rosado saved Manteninha from getting behind. Víktor Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo das Neves having to interfere. Geovânio Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Cardoso in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Víktor Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Zonta in the 75th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Bernardinho Cardoso rounded Manteninha's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. In the 81stth minute of the game Bernardinho Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manteninha's Geovânio Rosado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Fernandez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Geovânio Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardinho Cardoso went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Prado in the 88th minute of play forced Manteninha's goalkeeper Geovânio Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Carlos Fernando Mazza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovânio Rosado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Rezende FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
