Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Víktor Ferreira started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, CENZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes, Manteninha's Ramón de Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manteninha reached it. Geovânio Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu Sabóia went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Edinho Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Cardozo having to interfere. The Manteninha fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Manteninha's Víktor Ferreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CENZI's Edinho Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, CENZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Camargo to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Víktor Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manteninha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENZI the free kick. Víktor Ferreira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Geovânio Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Camargo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Geovânio Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Viana in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víktor Ferreira in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
52 minutes into the game, Túlio Dias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovânio Rosado. Túlio Dias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 55 minutes into the match, Manteninha's goalkeeper Geovânio Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Viana. Rodriguinho Valladares's shot from long distance in the 57th minute was not bad at all, but Manteninha's Geovânio Rosado knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Edinho Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Rosado having to interfere. CENZI's Teodoro Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Ferreira in the 65th minute of play. Teodoro Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Manteninha's Cléberson Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Teodoro Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Ferreira in the 86th minute of play. Túlio Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Teodoro Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Víktor Ferreira went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
