BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Aguero in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Quitauna F.C got a corner. BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddie Mercury ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Freddie Mercury almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela did a great save. A hard and well directed shot from Freddie Mercury led 6 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Célio Varela came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitauna F.C's Elvis Manu. But to his dismay, Elvis Manu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Quitauna F.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. David Barreto hit a great ball. Quitauna F.C were furious when Freddie Mercury was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, Freddie Mercury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jørn Brandvold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Vander in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo Barros during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diogo Barros hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Célio Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Aguero's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Quitauna F.C's Enio Aguero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Arlindo Vander made the kick off in the second half. Quitauna F.C made a substitution. Samuca Rosado replaced Elvis Manu. Quitauna F.C's Enio Aguero got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Arlindo Vander hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, David Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quitauna F.C made a substitution. Cacá Baptista replaced Claudio-Di-Domenico von der Schulenburg. After some careless play in the Quitauna F.C defense, Arlindo Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jørn Brandvold. The Quitauna F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jørn Brandvold should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Aguero in the 73rd minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Samuca Rosado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quitauna F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 78th minute, Enio Aguero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessandro Meirelles hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Célio Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Aguero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enio Aguero came free, but Célio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
