In the 26th minute of the match, Nicolas Romero sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Diguinho Vaz showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Diguinho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Aparecido in the 28th minute of the match. Chapadao Rs's Jairo Faustino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Felipe Arce could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Yuri Loureiro however easily saved by the left post. Diguinho Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Romero's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Atlético Minuano got a corner. Chapadao Rs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Tomé Galvão managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Atlético Minuano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Atlético Minuano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Diguinho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Ortiz in the 86th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Chapadao Rs's Jairo Faustino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Loureiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
