The supporters of Quitauna F.C booed when Nokudo Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Aguero in the 17th minute of play. Elvis Manu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Júnior Souza made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nokudo Futebol Clube's zone, Enio Aguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Souza came out of the goal and Enio Aguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enio Aguero made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nokudo Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Aguero came free, but Júnior Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Enio Aguero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júnior Souza was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Quitauna F.C were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Nokudo Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddie Mercury took the corner. Jørn Brandvold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Aguero's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Júnior Souza came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitauna F.C's Enio Aguero. But to his dismay, Enio Aguero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Enio Aguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Souza having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Nokudo Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Aguero came free, but Júnior Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Vinícius de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Quitauna F.C's Samuca Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júnior Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 91st minute, Claudio-Di-Domenico von der Schulenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
