Delfim Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Amaral in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Nana FC were awarded a corner. Robert Ahlquist went to the cornerflag to take it. Ernesto Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernesto Medeiros hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ernesto Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Delfim Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ahlquist in the 19th minute of the match. Delfim Fonseca came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nana FC's Robert Ahlquist. But to his dismay, Robert Ahlquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Geovani Pena came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Pena couldn't finish the play. Carolo Pirro was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Adrian Lång capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Lång really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Delfim Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Botelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carolo Pirro came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Eduardo Botelho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Nana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Lång came free, but Carolo Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Celso Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Lång was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nana FC's zone, Adrian Lång stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Pirro came out of the goal and Adrian Lång tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Lång, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Botelho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Mark Kuiper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nana FC's Chico Proença was substituted for Geovani Pena. Robert Ahlquist in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Victor de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. ONZE BASTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Pirro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carolo Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, Nana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Di Massimo to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes ONZE BASTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Bertassi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Barros got free with Delfim Fonseca in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Nana FC's Frank Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delfim Fonseca. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play. Delfim Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ONZE BASTA FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nana FC for a fine match.
