Nana FC's Carolo Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeru Dorado in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Celso Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nana FC's André Luiz Queirós got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Jimmy Lind sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Pirro skillfully saved the ball. Darren Verlet struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Carolo Pirro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maraponga FAC. Zeru Dorado hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Barros in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Xacintu Magadan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Pirro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Antal Szaniszló hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ahlquist in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade got control of the ball when Frank Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nana FC's Carolo Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Verlet in the 23rd minute of play. Mané Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Ahlquist got free with Mané Andrade in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl de Almeida hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cristiano Osmundsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Pirro having to interfere. Carolo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Verlet, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Xacintu Magadan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Lind might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Pirro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Lind ran back to his position shaking his head. Carolo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacintu Magadan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jimmy Lind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Carolo Pirro made a huge save. In the 52nd minute of the match Maraponga FAC got a corner. Nana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Lind ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cristiano Osmundsen hit a great ball. Carolo Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Lind in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Nana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Verlet came free, but Carolo Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Darren Verlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maraponga FAC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Nana FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jimmy Lind took the corner. Darren Verlet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carolo Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Nana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Osmundsen came free, but Carolo Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xacintu Magadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Carolo Pirro made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Nana FC's goalkeeper Carolo Pirro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Fernandez. Antal Szaniszló kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Nana FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Xacintu Magadan scored to the left of an out of position Carolo Pirro, making the score, 0-1. Jimmy Lind, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xacintu Magadan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Xacintu Magadan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Carolo Pirro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Nana FC defense, Xacintu Magadan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Pirro. The Nana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Pirro should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Maraponga FAC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nana FC throughout the match.
