BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Månsson in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Fjeldberg during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jørn Brandvold made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Arlindo Vander sent off a good shot on target. Célio Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristian Månsson went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jørn Brandvold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Kristian Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Månsson in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Varela saved BOA VISTA E.C. from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Vander got free with Jørn Brandvold in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Månsson in the 35th minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramón Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jørn Brandvold made a huge save. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eriberto Recife hit a great ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by BOA VISTA E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cacá Baptista was slow to take the kick. During this time Quitauna F.C's players had a chance to rest. Enio Aguero made a great header on Quitauna F.C's corner, it was just that BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee showed Ramón Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Ramón Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célio Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Månsson in the 59th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Kristian Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quitauna F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Kristian Månsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Laerte Seco in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quitauna F.C's Diogo Barros. In the 70th minute, Quitauna F.C's Kristian Månsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Kristian Månsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Célio Varela however easily saved by the left post. In the 74th minute, Ramón Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jørn Brandvold was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Célio Varela made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Kristian Månsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute of the match Quitauna F.C got a corner. BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cacá Baptista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arlindo Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jørn Brandvold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Vander in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Laerte Seco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Quitauna F.C's Diogo Barros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. BOA VISTA E.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Kristian Månsson scored to the left of an out of position Célio Varela, making the score, 2-4. Célio Varela made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Kristian Månsson sent off a good shot on target. Quitauna F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
