Remo de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when João Adolfo Araújo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of TRAKINAS FC booed when Figueirense FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo got control of the ball when Lenílson de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remo de Toledo was a little too slow when Lenílson de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edgar de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Matos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Araújo in the 23rd minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Oswaldo Matos sped through Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar de Queiroz. Wanderson Oliveira's late challenge caught a TRAKINAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's Wanderson Oliveira got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Matos in the 28th minute of play forced Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edgar de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Charles Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar de Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Edgar de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Oswaldo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar de Queiroz having to interfere. Edgar de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The Figueirense FC - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TRAKINAS FC were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Adolfo Araújo to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Figueirense FC - FSCMZ defense, Oswaldo Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar de Queiroz. The Figueirense FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Matoss short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Edgar de Queiroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgar de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. After having played for 74 minutes, Reinaldo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Matos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-11 to the left of a surprised Edgar de Queiroz 78 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes of play, TRAKINAS FC's Reinaldo Alagoano made it 1-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Figueirense FC - FSCMZ defense, Oswaldo Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar de Queiroz. The Figueirense FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded TRAKINAS FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Figueirense FC - FSCMZ.
