Edgar de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Faria came free, but Edgar de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Senna came free, but Edgar de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Senna went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Virgílio Faria took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar de Queiroz. Edgar de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Narciso Ferraz scored 1-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Senna went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. When KEIPER F. C.'s Cacá Xavier in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. If Virgílio Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Adolfo Araújo was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, KEIPER F. C.'s Virgílio Faria made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd match minute, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Recife to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Edgar de Queiroz made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edgar de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Xavier. Edgar de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Senna in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd play minute Virgílio Faria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgar de Queiroz. 1-11. Eliseu Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Senna took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar de Queiroz. Edgar de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-12. 82 minutes into the match, Virgílio Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar de Queiroz. Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-13. After a rather tough play, Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's Gilmar Recife got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cacá Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Edgar de Queiroz made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Narciso Ferraz notched a goal, 1-14, to the right of Figueirense FC - FSCMZ's Edgar de Queiroz. Edgar de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the game, Virgílio Faria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar de Queiroz. Virgílio Faria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-15.
