In the 5th match minute, Formigueiro FP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José De Pablo to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Formigueiro FP's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Abreu came free, but Terry Terry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilmar Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Bin Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Wu Bin Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juvenil Sport Club's Matheus Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Formigueiro FP's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Mandrak came free, but Terry Terry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Pestana was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Formigueiro FP getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cândido Pestana hit a great ball. Sebastião Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terry Terry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Formigueiro FP's Wu Bin Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Juvenil Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Bin Yang came free, but Matheus Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Formigueiro FP's Janusz Makowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matheus Guimarães. Matheus Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Juvenil Sport Club's Matheus Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Fonseca in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Formigueiro FP's Terry Terry got control of the ball when Gilmar Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Oséas Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Terry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheus Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Bin Yang went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Formigueiro FP's Terry Terry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Formigueiro FP from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Formigueiro FP's Wu Bin Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matheus Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Juvenil Sport Club's zone, Janusz Makowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Guimarães came out of the goal and Janusz Makowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus Guimarães came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Formigueiro FP's Wu Bin Yang. But to his dismay, Wu Bin Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Bin Yang in the 87th minute of play forced Juvenil Sport Club's goalkeeper Matheus Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José De Pablo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José De Pablo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Formigueiro FP got a freekick which was hit by José De Pablo. Juvenil Sport Club's Matheus Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José De Pablo in the 91st minute of play. Terry Terry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Mandrak in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Formigueiro FP fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juvenil Sport Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
