Stanislaw Lichucki made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Abel Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. David Aiach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Carvalho. Geovânio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Paraíba in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Carvalho got free with Stanislaw Lichucki in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Moise Stoicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aiach in the 38th minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki got control of the ball when Abel Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellington Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
