A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Thomás Freitas hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Pernambucano in the 15th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Corinthians Paulistano's Enéas Passos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luís Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enéas Passos 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Ramón Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians Paulistano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Enéas Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulistano's Enéas Passos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Enéas Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Montenegro made a huge save.

Bucéfalo FC's Pedro Luís Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Pernambucano in the 50th minute of play. When Romário Passos fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucéfalo FC's protests and gave Romário Passos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Romário Passos hit a great ball. Enéas Passos took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Montenegro. Pedro Luís Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Ponthus Corre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Corinthians Paulistano's Enéas Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 60th match minute, Corinthians Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponthus Corre to maneuver through the defense. Corinthians Paulistano's Giovanni Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Paulistano from getting a goal against them. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Paulistano. 94 minutes into the game, Ramón Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Pedro Luís Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corinthians Paulistano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
