Enéas Passos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 50th minute. Giovanni Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alaaddin Haabegaard in the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Pernambucano in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Vogel saved BORUSSIA DORTMUND from getting behind. Alaaddin Haabegaard took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Schmidt. Giovanni Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Marco Vogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Marco Vogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Ramalho in the 94th minute of play. Corinthians Paulistano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
