Matheus Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tomás Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Mateus Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Juvenil Sport Club's Jerônimo Abreu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Matheus Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Recife in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The supporters of Nova Era booed when Juvenil Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Juvenil Sport Club's protests and gave Matheus Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Viana to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Nova Era left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Juvenil Sport Club.
