In the 27th minute, Alaaddin Haabegaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Freire was the one to do the kick off. The Nova Era fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egídio Vaz should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilmar Sousa during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
