Mário do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Williams in the 6th minute of play forced A.D.Maragatos's goalkeeper Mário do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When A.S.Saint Ethiene's Håkan Molin in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D.Maragatos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Teodoro Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Håkan Molin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Chicão Senna fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D.Maragatos's protests and gave Chicão Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Chicão Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Håkan Molin made a precise shot to the right of Mário do Vale. A.D.Maragatos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Håkan Molin sped through A.D.Maragatos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mário do Vale. A.D.Maragatos's Alexander Reis got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Alexander Reis off the ground. Alexander Reis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, A.S.Saint Ethiene's Nico Williams made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Pedro Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mário do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Penha to make the kick off. Nico Williams could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Mário do Vale made a huge save. In the 56th play minute Zé Pedro Penha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mário do Vale. 0-7. Zé Pedro Penha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. After 70 played minutes A.D.Maragatos got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Madureira. A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save A.D.Maragatos from getting a goal against them. Zé Pedro Penha in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mário do Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to A.D.Maragatos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cauan da Silva hit a great ball. After some careless play in the A.D.Maragatos defense, Teodoro Camargo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário do Vale. The A.D.Maragatos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário do Vale should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Jegham got free with Mário do Vale in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
