A.D.Maragatos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 24 played minutes E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO got a freekick which was hit by Elazar Larraín. Cauã Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in A.D.Maragatos's zone, Anísio Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário do Vale came out of the goal and Anísio Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, A.D.Maragatos's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Junior came free, but Mário do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D.Maragatos's goalkeeper Mário do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cauã Vidal made a kick off. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's attentive Bebeto Sarmento managed to snatch the ball when Wesley Palmeira made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to A.D.Maragatos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arí Mineiro hit a great ball. Anísio Queirós struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mário do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO. Anísio Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mário do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Anísio Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Wesley Palmeira in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Elazar Larraín. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan da Silva during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chicão Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Queirós got free with Mário do Vale in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neymar Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Wesley Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's attentive Izel Carrion managed to snatch the ball when Wesley Palmeira made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Neymar Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
