Gelu Lepuș made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anderson Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes, Deilmison Robben mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Psiu! and the Cadu Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Deilmison Robben. With a little luck, Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș got control of the ball when Jerônimo Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jerônimo Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Dantas couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Mário Secco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Robben in the 44th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Jerônimo Dantas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
