Fabinho Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Glauco Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anderson Ortiz. After a rather tough play, Encanto's Erasmo Hames got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Fabinho Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Glauco Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Remo Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psiu!'s protests and gave Remo Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Ortiz in the 32nd minute of play. Fabinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Glauco Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fabinho Pernambucano sped through Psiu!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Glauco Vaz. The wind increased when Fabinho Pernambucano made the kick off in the second half. When Anderson Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Ortiz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Psiu!'s zone, Osvaldinho Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Vaz came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Glauco Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Osvaldinho Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Encanto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Rocha couldn't finish the play. Encanto were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Psiu!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardinho Paes took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jairo Nascimento heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 68 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pernambucano came free, but Glauco Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Vaz having to interfere. Encanto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psiu! the free kick. José Madureira hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
