Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Cidade Nova's Fernandinho Furtado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Guga França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cidade Nova's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes Clube Paulista da Mooca got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Pombal. With a little luck, Cidade Nova's Erasto Fontecilla got control of the ball when Gino Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinaldo Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Clube Paulista da Mooca got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Abraão. Reinaldo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Paraense in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Clube Paulista da Mooca's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Michna came free, but Reinaldo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cidade Nova's goalkeeper Erasto Fontecilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Nunes. Gino Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasto Fontecilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Birjaio in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Clube Paulista da Mooca's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Michna came free, but Reinaldo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Clube Paulista da Mooca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Sá to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Doni Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasto Fontecilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Clube Paulista da Mooca's Gabriel Sá got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Reinaldo Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Michna in the 53rd minute. Edmund Michna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Faria made a huge save. Gino Nunes struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Erasto Fontecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Paulista da Mooca. Cidade Nova's Ovidio Urbez was substituted for Guga França. Cidade Nova made a substitution. Tiger Wakefield replaced Zeca Schmidt. A collision led to Clube Paulista da Mooca getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gino Nunes hit a great ball. Reinaldo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Furtado in the 65th minute of play. Cidade Nova's Erasto Fontecilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Prado in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Clube Paulista da Mooca's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Furtado came free, but Reinaldo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özen Kuter kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cidade Nova's Romeu Carioca was substituted for Fernandinho Furtado. After a rather tough play, Cidade Nova's Özen Kuter got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Tiger Wakefield hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Faria was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Romeu Carioca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romeu Carioca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 84th minute, Cidade Nova's Nilmar Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Clube Paulista da Mooca's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Paraense came free, but Reinaldo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cidade Nova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeu Carioca in the 90th minute. A nice corner shot did that Romeu Carioca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reinaldo Faria quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tiger Wakefield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Faria made a huge save. After 92 minutes Clube Paulista da Mooca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeu Carioca who took care of the corner kick. Romeu Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Cidade Nova left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clube Paulista da Mooca.
