Uku Aavasalu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Palmeiras Elite booed when Itanhum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Paes's late challenge caught a Palmeiras Elite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Paes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Itanhum getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Basílio Paes hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Luís Porto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Cavalcante skillfully saved the ball. Uku Aavasalu was a little too slow when Wiliam do Vale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Valério Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Senna got free with Uku Aavasalu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Uku Aavasalu made a huge save. When Valério Senna, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Uku Aavasalu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valério Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uku Aavasalu was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32ndth minute of the game Valério Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras Elite's Uku Aavasalu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uku Aavasalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Senna in the 34th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Valério Senna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uku Aavasalu. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Palmeiras Elite's Uku Aavasalu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras Elite from getting a goal against them. Armandinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armandinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Armandinho das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Chucho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Itanhum got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Paes. When Denílson Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itanhum's protests and gave Denílson Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. Denílson Rossi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Palmeiras Elite got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Botelho. Valério Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uku Aavasalu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valério Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uku Aavasalu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the game, Wiliam do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Uku Aavasalu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Valério Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Denílson Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itanhum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Raphael Brasil struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Uku Aavasalu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itanhum. Valério Senna hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Itanhum's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Trevisan came free, but Alberto Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Brasil hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Valério Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itanhum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 93 minutes into the match, Palmeiras Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Senna came free, but Uku Aavasalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itanhum's Celsinho Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uku Aavasalu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Senna's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Itanhum players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
