The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Bertassi got free with Eusébio Moreno in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Conrado Mello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusébio Moreno. Conrado Mello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Gralau getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ediberto da Fonseca hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Hipolito Paz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno. Eusébio Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Moreno having to interfere. Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Paz in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Hipolito Paz made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Moreno. Borussia Steel F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato da Silveira during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renato da Silveira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Wellington Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Moreno. Borussia Steel F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Hipolito Paz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eusébio Moreno came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Paz slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 24th minute. Wellington Bertassi came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eusébio Moreno could save by the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Hipolito Paz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno. Eusébio Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borussia Steel F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Hipolito Paz scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Moreno, making the score, 8-0. 42 minutes into the match, Borussia Steel F.C's goalkeeper Eusébio Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wellington Bertassi. Borussia Steel F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Wellington Bertassi scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Moreno, making the score, 9-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Paz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusébio Moreno. That made the score 10-0 in the 48 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Mello in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Conrado Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Moreno. Borussia Steel F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Toninho Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eusébio Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Gralau's Hipolito Paz made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusébio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Wellington Bertassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Eusébio Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toninho Sá struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Eusébio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gralau. Eusébio Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Paz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The corner led Gralau's Vitório Bittencourt to fire away a dangerous shot which Eusébio Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Gralau fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Gralau's Hipolito Paz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 15-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Hipolito Paz put it in 16-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eusébio Moreno. Gralau's Armandinho Schmidt was substituted for Toninho Sá. Wellington Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eusébio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gralau. The supporters of Borussia Steel F.C booed when Gralau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Fausto Peres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Langbråten saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Borussia Steel F.C defense, Hipolito Paz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Moreno. The Borussia Steel F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Moreno should have stopped the shot. Eusébio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Bertassi in the 99th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Gralau were the better team. Gralau's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
