Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toninho Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Leme having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Bittencourt during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Gralau:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gralau's Erik Langbråten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Paes in the 46th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mathias Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Paz in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, MM g was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Conrado Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias Leme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, MM g's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Paz came free, but Mathias Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Bertassi got free with Mathias Leme in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Gralau's Hipolito Paz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. 96 minutes into the game, Wellington Bertassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9.
