In the 7th minute, Durvalino Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Mandrak went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eusébio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Dracena in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Waldir Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eusébio Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvério Mineiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Eusébio Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Dracena went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eusébio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Durvalino Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Dracena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusébio Moreno. Borussia Steel F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sydney Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Waldir Mandrak took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Moreno. Eusébio Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Sydney Dracena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Steel F.C from getting a goal against them. Waldir Mandrak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Moreno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Borussia Steel F.C's Durvalino Castro got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Durvalino Castro off the ground. Waldir Mandrak scored 1-7 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Waldir Mandrak notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Borussia Steel F.C's Eusébio Moreno. Eusébio Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Waldir Mandraks short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Eusébio Moreno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silvério Mineiro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Borussia Steel F.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Loureiro hit a great ball. Waldir Mandrak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Gru Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Gru Futebol Clube booed when Borussia Steel F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Moreno having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Elias Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gru Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. The Borussia Steel F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gru Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
