Sem Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Pereira in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustão Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinícius Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Carvalho in the 53rd minute of the match. Vinícius Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Oscar Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius Mazza was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Chico Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
