Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Pirani in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Laguna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Älämdar Ämrahov kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jânio Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dênis Laguna. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Jânio Mendes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 26th minute of the match, Jânio Mendes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dênis Laguna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dênis Laguna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Pirani in the 35th minute of play. Dênis Laguna was a little too slow when Isaltino Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 75th minute Alfredo Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Secco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86thth minute of the game Jânio Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Dênis Laguna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Secco came free, but Dênis Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Secco in the 89th minute of play forced Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Dênis Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Laguna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonsinho Mattos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. There was no doubt that Irreal Madrid were the better team. Irreal Madrid's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
