Evaristo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Receba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas de Toledo came free, but Evaristo Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Tande took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Tavares. Evaristo Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Evaristo Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Serafino Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Alessandro Paolucci got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ademir Tande struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Evaristo Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seterma Tractors. With a little luck, Receba Futebol Clube's Evaristo Tavares got control of the ball when Ademir Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enéas de Toledo in the 74th minute.
