After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's Luciano Leão got a free kick in the 9th minute. Juan Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Percival Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Arantes. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Eriberto Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ian Arantes made a huge save. When Scalusni Futebol Clube's Juan Trancoso in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jaroslaw Robak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juan Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Sarmento hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Máté Szalay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Trancoso in the 44th minute of play. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Vianna in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Scalusni Futebol Clube booed when REAL VASCO RIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alfredo Fernandes hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Serginho Vianna made the kick off in the second half. Ian Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Prestes was a little too slow when Máté Szalay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Szalay in the 74th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Máté Szalay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Percival Prestes. The goal made the score 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Scalusni Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than REAL VASCO RIO.
