An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 14th minute of play forced Meia Ronda's goalkeeper Didi Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Didi Lima. Meia Ronda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Papunhas EC's Elói Aparecido seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elói Aparecido the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Papunhas EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elói Aparecido had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Papunhas EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Meia Ronda. Lino Berger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ismael Nazario Serre. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 29th minute of play forced Meia Ronda's goalkeeper Didi Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didi Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar de Moraes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sílvio Luiz de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ismael Nazario Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Meia Ronda got a freekick which was hit by Rony Mattos. Meia Ronda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Telmo Peres 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Christian Baiano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Sílvio Luiz de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Nazario Serre came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Meia Ronda's Didi Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Lino Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meia Ronda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 58th minute of play forced Meia Ronda's goalkeeper Didi Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Gilvan Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Meia Ronda's Gilvan Tavares in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papunhas EC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fabrício Carneiro hit a great ball. Didi Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Meia Ronda's Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga got a free kick in the 68th minute. Meia Ronda made a substitution. Luís Guilherme Damião replaced Joel de Queiroz. After 69 played minutes Meia Ronda got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 72nd minute, but Ismael Nazario Serre got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Papunhas EC hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Tavares in the 73rd minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Tavares came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meia Ronda made a substitution. Gonçalo de Lara replaced Igor Mazurkiewicz. Didi Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Pinho went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gilvan Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Nazario Serre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 93 minutes into the game, Meia Ronda's Gilvan Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Nazario Serre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Papunhas EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
