In the 3rdth minute of the game Gilberto Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Washington Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Pena hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Altan Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Washington Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Altan Miro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Washington Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Asilo do Teco's Altan Miro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Erik Pena got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Ademir Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Altan Miro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Washington Carneiro, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Gilberto Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Carneiro. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Altan Miro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Carneiro. Washington Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, Gražvydas Gylys dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Washington Carneiro, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altan Miro got free with Washington Carneiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edu da Cunha who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Palmitos Futebol Clube SC booed when Asilo do Teco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Altan Miro in the 38th minute. If Altan Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Altan Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Ademir Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Walmir Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Washington Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Miro in the 52nd minute of the match. Erik Pena hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Erik Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, Asilo do Teco's Altan Miro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Washington Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Altan Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Pena during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erik Pena made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Walmir Cunha however managed to control. Erik Pena hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Altan Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Carneiro having to interfere. Washington Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gražvydas Gylys in the 85th minute of the match. Altan Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Bueno came free, but Washington Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Asilo do Teco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
