With a left leg Sandrinho de Senna saved Palmitos Futebol Clube SC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Sampaio came free, but Sandrinho de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luís Eduardo Arce fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Arce a yellow card for diving instead. But to his dismay, Nando Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 64 played minutes A. E. Vile got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Pena. 67 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Zanette came free, but Sandrinho de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Zanette in the 71st minute. Elder Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Elder Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandrinho de Senna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amadeu Pena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Zanette in the 93rd minute of play forced Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goalkeeper Sandrinho de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Elder Hermes in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A. E. Vile's goalie prevented a goal. A. E. Vile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
