The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the S.E. In the 16th minute of the match, Dorival Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Terra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Pacuri SS's Eriberto Hoffmann got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Abel Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacuri SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival Veloso during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dorival Veloso hit a great ball. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, S.E. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Abel Secco sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão de Amaral. In the 65th match minute, Pacuri SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Andriy Shevchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abel Secco came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pacuri SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Secco couldn't finish the play. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. Dênis Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Betão de Amaral made a huge save. Sebastião Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Pacuri SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
