The supporters of Jemuz booed when Pacuri SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Jemuz got a freekick which was hit by Elder Mendes. In the 11th minute, Abel Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Geovanni Barral in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezequiel Perez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jemuz's Ezequiel Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Munhoz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Pacuri SS were awarded a corner. Dênis Munhoz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pacuri SS's Andriy Shevchenko to fire away a dangerous shot which Ezequiel Perez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andriy Shevchenko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ezequiel Perez 24 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With his leg Ezequiel Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Pacuri SS's Geovanni Barral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Edson Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jemuz's protests and gave Edson Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. When Geovanni Barral came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pacuri SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovanni Barral couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Secco's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Lenílson Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jemuz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pacuri SS the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Abel Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Secco's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Geovanni Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Perez was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ezequiel Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Secco in the 61st minute of play. Sebastião Terra made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Edson Arantes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Munhoz in the 67th minute of play forced Jemuz's goalkeeper Ezequiel Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacuri SS's Dênis Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Pacuri SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andriy Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sebastião Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Salles hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Jemuz got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Freire. Abel Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Perez having to interfere. Pacuri SS made a substitution. Naldo Custódio replaced Abel Secco. 86 minutes into the match, Pacuri SS's goalkeeper Sebastião Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo Falcão. 91 minutes into the match, Jemuz's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Custódio came free, but Ezequiel Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
