Geovani Coutinho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Adolfo Rocha. 0-1. In the 13th minute Hudson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Nunes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Veiga in the 16th minute of play forced Igapira AD's goalkeeper João Adolfo Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hudson Mendes to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Igapira AD's Márcio Viana got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Geovani Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Adolfo Rocha made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Guto Vaz sent off a good shot on target. When Iuri Cardozo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The João Adolfo Rocha was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Igapira AD's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Veiga came free, but João Adolfo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes, Igapira AD's Márcio Viana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Léo Sampaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Igapira AD reached it. Igapira AD's Claudinho Bertassi was substituted for Hudson Mendes. Léo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
