The Lady Newton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho de Sena should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Roman Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samagara Real - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Sanduru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Samagara Real - DMZ's Gilmar Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho de Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cauã Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cauã Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodriguinho de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lino Mineiro made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lady Newton's Afonsinho Furlan. The supporters of Samagara Real - DMZ booed when Lady Newton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lady Newton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samagara Real - DMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lady Newton's Bernardo Mineiro got a free kick in the 65th minute. Samagara Real - DMZ's Roman Sanduru got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguinho de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilmar Lopez in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Samagara Real - DMZ's Gilmar Lopez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodriguinho de Sena. Rodriguinho de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 75th minute, Gilmar Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Lino Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samagara Real - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lady Newton the free kick. In the 94th minute, Gilmar Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samagara Real - DMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
