Caio Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Mesquita in the 2nd minute of the match. Samuel McQuarrie struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Caio Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danone CC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Mesquita in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Jacinto saved COPO CHEIO from getting behind. Caio Jacinto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Gernando Proença. But to his dismay, Gernando Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caio Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Proença in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Gernando Proença made a precise shot to the right of Caio Jacinto. COPO CHEIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in COPO CHEIO's zone, Enéas Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Jacinto came out of the goal and Enéas Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes COPO CHEIO got a freekick which was hit by João Victor. After 20 minutes COPO CHEIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gernando Proença who took care of the corner kick. Dário Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caio Jacinto having to make a save. Caio Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Dário Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Caio Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Proença in the 39th minute of play forced COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Caio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Danone CC were awarded a corner. Gernando Proença went to the cornerflag to take it. Albert Vulpe was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dário Mesquita's late challenge caught a COPO CHEIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to COPO CHEIO getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Claudinho Guimarães hit a great ball. Isaltino Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luís de Salles went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Danone CC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luís de Salles made the kick off in the second half. When Diogo Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COPO CHEIO's protests and gave Diogo Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. COPO CHEIO's Xalbador Zaplana was substituted for Sílvio Luís de Salles. In a very dangerous position, a player in COPO CHEIO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Caio Jacinto, was totally fooled by Danone CC's Gernando Proença, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gernando Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Mesquita in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Jacinto saved COPO CHEIO from getting behind. After some careless play in the Danone CC defense, Claudinho Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaltino Couto. The Danone CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaltino Couto should have stopped the shot. When Claudinho Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the COPO CHEIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Guimarães couldn't finish the play. In the 79th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC made a substitution. Fausto Senna replaced Enéas Carneiro. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Ademir Aparecido got a free kick in the 80th minute. Isaltino Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xalbador Zaplana's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalbador Zaplana in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Xalbador Zaplana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Couto was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Dário Mesquita in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caio Jacinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 2-11 became the score in the 84th minute when Gernando Proença elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Caio Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Mesquita. Caio Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dário Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Proença in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Jacinto saved COPO CHEIO from getting behind. Danone CC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
