Tocantinópolis EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Eger in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Bagge in the 7th minute of play forced AC Boa Vista's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Murillo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo Vargas in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Paulo Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Murillo Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zé Paulo Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Michel Bagge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Paulo Barreto was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. AC Boa Vista's Zé Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Ortiz in the 18th minute of play. Marcelo Ortiz took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Barreto. Zé Paulo Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. AC Boa Vista's Zé Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Ortiz in the 22nd minute of play. Dante Isauro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Michel Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tocantinópolis EC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after AC Boa Vista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Eger took the corner. 32 minutes into the match, AC Boa Vista's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Vargas came free, but Zé Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Latomme's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Zé Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Latomme in the 36th minute of play. AC Boa Vista's Zé Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Latomme in the 38th minute of play. Zé Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Ortiz in the 39th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Latomme in the 40th minute of play. Silas da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Henk Latomme made a precise shot to the right of Zé Paulo Barreto. AC Boa Vista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Latomme was the one to do the kick off. Zé Paulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Marcelo Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Barreto made a huge save. With a little luck, AC Boa Vista's Zé Paulo Barreto got control of the ball when Murillo Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, AC Boa Vista's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Latomme came free, but Zé Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Ortiz got free with Zé Paulo Barreto in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Vargas in the 58th minute of play forced AC Boa Vista's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Van Hove received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Paulo Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Matthew Van Hove slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. Tocantinópolis EC made a substitution. Jânio Castro replaced Murillo Vargas. Tocantinópolis EC's Dorian de Brito was substituted for Emilian Săvulescu. Zé Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Van Hove in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, AC Boa Vista's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Castro came free, but Zé Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Castro in the 79th minute of play. Zé Paulo Barreto came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tocantinópolis EC's Marcelo Ortiz. But to his dismay, Marcelo Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 85th minute Ragnar Kiis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, AC Boa Vista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Barreto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Castro in the 91st minute of play forced AC Boa Vista's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The AC Boa Vista fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tocantinópolis EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
