Abel Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Luiz Fernando de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WAU team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Vides in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The New Colorado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WAU team were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fernando de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, New Colorado's goalkeeper Jardel Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Paiva. Paulo Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jardel Paiva made a huge save. A collision led to New Colorado getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Catarinense hit a great ball. Benjamim Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jânio Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, WAU team's Paulo Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jardel Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. New Colorado's Jardel Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save New Colorado from getting a goal against them. Benjamim Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Vides in the 84th minute of the match. The WAU team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. In the 94th minute Luiz Fernando de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded WAU team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Colorado.
