Fábio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Bezerra in the 14th minute of play. Jardel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vito Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Vito Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Ramalho. Juventus Tatuquara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fábio Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Pirani in the 27th minute. Diguinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Tatuquara's zone, Giovanni Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Ramalho came out of the goal and Giovanni Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Bezerra was the one to do the kick off. Germano Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jardel Paiva made a huge save. In the 54th minute of the match Juventus Tatuquara got a corner. New Colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvério Ribeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvério Ribeiro made a great header on Juventus Tatuquara's corner, it was just that New Colorado's Jardel Paiva managed to reach the ball for a save. Jardel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aprígio Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Juventus Tatuquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Veiga to maneuver through the defense. If Giovanni Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Elano Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Tatuquara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Colorado the free kick. Elano Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Giovanni Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus Tatuquara's Fábio Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, New Colorado's goalkeeper Jardel Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Veiga. After a rather tough play, Juventus Tatuquara's Felippe Faria got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Giovanni Bezerra notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Juventus Tatuquara's Fábio Ramalho. Fábio Ramalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Colorado had played much better football throughout.
