He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTER FC reached it. João Adolfo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Cruz in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes Squadra Campeira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emerson Cruz who took care of the corner kick. INTER FC's Emerson Cruz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Adolfo Esteves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18thth minute of the game Marco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Campeira's João Adolfo Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Marco Seco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Squadra Campeira's João Adolfo Esteves. INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares was substituted for Marco Seco. Marcelo Valverde hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Linhares took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Esteves. João Adolfo Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. INTER FC's Cássio Porto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dé Cruz in the 88 minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Squadra Campeira's goalkeeper João Adolfo Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Linhares. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched INTER FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
